How to use Undertow

Getting Started
- 1. Create your account
Sign up with email or Google. Email signups get a confirmation link · click it, then sign in. The free tier gives you recaps, calendars, and a limited snapshot; Undertow Pro ($99/mo, cancel anytime) unlocks real-time flow, the AI copilot, 0DTE, watchlist and position alerts.
- 2. Read the AM Brief first
Every trading morning we publish an AI-generated brief covering regime, magnets, sector rotation, and a shortlist of tickers to watch. It auto-refreshes hourly while the market is open. Start there.
- 3. Scan the Trinity + Top Tech heatmaps
Index Trinity shows SPX/SPY/QQQ side-by-side. Top Tech shows NVDA/MSFT/META/TSLA/AAPL/GOOGL/AVGO/AMD. Every card marks ◄ SPOT PRICE, the 👑 King node, and ◆ magnets, with a collapsible "How to read this heatmap" walkthrough.
- 4. Pull up any ticker
Use the search icon in the header. Every ticker page has a live GEX/VEX board, unusual flow with BOT/SLD side and ET timestamps, catalysts, earnings context, and an AI "Read the Board" button that talks you through the setup.
- 5. Work the setup lanes
Trade Ideas ranks setups by structure + flow + catalysts. 0DTE tracks SPX/SPY/QQQ/IWM live with ARMED → LIVE → FADING triggers. Squeeze Map surfaces heavy negative gamma above spot. Breakouts covers HOD breaks, opening-range breaks, VWAP reclaim/loss, RVOL surges and ATR expansion. Gap & Momentum catches news-driven runners.
- 6. Build your Watchlist
Add any ticker on the Watchlist tab (eye icon). Undertow evaluates it continuously and returns a CALL / PUT / WAIT verdict with confidence, target, invalidation, and the structural reasons. Toggle alerts per ticker for big moves, whale flow, news, and setup changes.
- 7. Log positions and use the Exit Coach
Add what you're holding on Positions. You get live P/L, DTE, VWAP / gamma-flip / magnet context, and a HOLD · TRIM · CUT · ROLL recommendation. The background watcher pushes an alert when structure or flow flips against you.
- 8. Ask Undertow anything
The ASK button in the header opens the AI copilot. It's grounded in your live data · ask for whale flow on a ticker, why a board flipped, or a plan for the session. No made-up prices.
- 9. Turn on push alerts
Add Undertow to your home screen on iOS/Android, then toggle the bell in the header. Alerts fire for regime changes, watchlist triggers, and your open positions. Tune them under Notifications.
- 10. Share your referral link
Your Profile has a referral link. When someone signs up through it, you get $10 credited against your next invoice automatically.

Glossary
Total dealer gamma at a strike. Positive = mean-reverting/pinning. Negative = trending/accelerating.
How dealer hedging shifts when implied volatility changes. Drives moves around IV spikes and event resolutions.
The single strike with the highest absolute GEX · the strongest magnet on the board.
Secondary GEX peaks above (↑) or below (↓) spot. Common rotation targets after the King resolves.
Strike where net dealer gamma crosses zero. Price moves quickly and unpredictably through these levels.
Relative Volume · today's volume vs the 20-day baseline at the same time of day. 3× = 3× normal.
Contracts trading at 3×+ their average daily volume. Displayed with side (BOT/SLD) and EST timestamp.
Zero Days To Expiry · options expiring today. Highest gamma sensitivity of any expiry.
The expiration doing the most work shaping current price action. Usually the near-dated chain with the biggest OI.
0.6 × Signal Score + 0.4 × Trade Quality. One number to rank setups at a glance.
|target − entry| / |entry − invalidation|. 5:1 means you make $5 for every $1 risked.
The price where the setup is wrong. Close beyond this = exit.
News, earnings, insider prints, contracts, or filings tagged to a ticker. Feeds the AI brief and setup ranking.
Our real-time options data provider. Powers every GEX/VEX board and live price stream.
Boards with heavy negative dealer gamma above spot · a break higher forces dealer chasing. Our highest-conviction call structure.
The Watchlist engine's read on a ticker right now, with confidence, target, and invalidation. WAIT = no edge yet.
Position-level guidance: HOLD, TRIM, CUT, or ROLL, based on live price vs structure, whale flow direction, and time decay.
Whether an unusual print hit the ask (BOT · aggressive buyer) or the bid (SLD · aggressive seller). Shown with the trade's ET timestamp.
Call premium vs put premium traded on a ticker. The skew bar shows which side real money is paying up for.
Lane for news-driven runners with extreme RVOL, even when the options structure is thin. Built to catch moves the GEX lanes gate out.
